HD-2018 Cable Sheath Fault Location System

The system includes three parts. They are, respectively, HD-2018 sheath fault location power, GZD-4A HV bridge locator, and HDK-1 step voltage indicator. Each part can be separately used.

Introduction

This system is designed mainly for 110kV cable and higher voltage cable. The sheath faults are usually caused by termite biting, earth box being filled with water, original faults being worse and entrance part of earth circuit being wet. With HD-2018 system, we can locate the sheath faults quickly and precisely. In addition, we can do HV experiment in cable with HD-2018 power, too.

Main Feature

• Types of power output:  DC output and pulse output can be chosen.
• DC output:  0~15kV can be adjusted. The cut circuit current is 20mA~100mA adjusted.
• Pulse output:  The cut circuit current is 200~1000mA adjusted.
• Work power:       50Hz AC 220V±15%
• Pre-location error:  Bridge method              0.5%L
• Voltage compared method      2%L
• Pin-pointing error:  ±30cm (with step voltage method)
